A Somerville man broke into an Arlington Street woman’s car and stole her iPod, headphones and speakers Feb. 23, according to police.

Junior Oliveira, 31, of 36 Rush St. was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property over $250 and warrant charges.

Police were initially called about a suspicious person walking in and out of driveways. Police said the interior of one car was in “complete disarray.” Oliveira was stopped on Broadway looking over his shoulder in a panicked state, police said.

Police said he matched the description of the suspect.

Oliveira was pat frisked for weapons, police said. The frisk revealed no weapons but an Apple iPod, headphones and speakers were found, police said. The owner of the car left in disarray identified the items as hers.
