Brianna Dellisola was one for three with three RBI’s. The Storm took a 5-0 after three innings before exploding for 12 runs in the final two frames.

The Newton Panthers, now 4-6, managed only one run on a pair of hits. The Storm defense was strong again, committing only two errors and recording seven putouts, including a double play on a fly ball caught by center fielder Charlotte Schofield, who threw to SS Brianna Dellisola to double off the runner.

Amolee Hawkins went the distance striking out nine.
