Somerville man arraigned and charged with armed and masked robbery

On Friday, Andrea Florence Koutis, age 30 of Arlington and Erick Guy Stout, age 35 of Somerville were arraigned in the Third District Court of Middlesex County for their involvement in the January 8, 2013 robbery of the East Cambridge Savings Bank in Arlington, Ma.


After an investigation conducted by the Arlington Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Bureau and the FBI Bank Robbery Task Force, Andrea Koutis was charged with one count of Armed Robbery (G.L.c. 265, s17/A) and Erick Stout was charged with one count Armed and Masked Robbery (G.L.c.265, s.17/B).

Both suspects are currently being held at the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department Jail at Nashua Street. Bail was set in the amount of $100,000 for Koutis and $250,000 for Stout. The case was continued to January 29, 2013 for a probable cause hearing, pending a review by the Middlesex Superior Court for indictment.
