Walter Bennett, 55, of 349 Broadway, Chelsea, March 11, 1:42 p.m., arrested at 75 Mystic Ave. on charges of larceny over $250 and assault and battery, and on warrant charges of failure to signal, failure to stop or yield, conspiracy to violate drug law, drug possession, and operation of a motor vehicle with suspended registration.

Henry Enrique, 19, of 30 Minnesota Ave., March 11, 2:16 p.m., arrested at 272 Broadway on a charge of violation of city ordinance possession of a dangerous weapon.

Daniel McLean, 55, of 268 Washington St., March 12, 1:48 p.m., arrested at Knowlton St. on a warrant charge of abuse prevention order violation.

Noel Pefine, 44, of 14 Newburne Ave., Medford, March 12, 3:53 p.m., arrested at Holland St. on warrant charges of abuse prevention order violation, number plate violation, and operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Bryan Exume, 21, of 290 Arlington Rd., Woburn, March 13, 2:13 p.m., arrested at Pearl St. on a warrant charge of drug possession.

    Sounds a little busier this week, guess Spring is coming. Maybe?

    Yes “A. Moore”, evidently some (snakes) escaped from Ireland before St Patrick got there. Did you notice that out of the 20 arrests listed, 12 were non residents. Well the mayor put Good Times at Assembly Square out of business, so they cant blame them anymore…..that narrows it down to all the other stuff that “prospers” in the city, the many “events” …maybe the fact that the number of liquor licenses = an establishment providing booze every 200+ feet in this 4 square mile city adds to the problem.
    Perhaps the liquor licensing commission should spend less time handing out licenses and more time enforcing the rules on the existing ones.
