Police were called to the Precinct bar late last Sunday on reports of a highly intoxicated individual causing a disturbance on the premises.
Upon arrival, officers were informed by the manager of the bar that a man, later identified as Kalisbek Malikov, 36, came into the bar very drunk and demanded to be served more alcohol.
Police were also reportedly told by the manager that because of Malikov’s high level of intoxication and the fact that it was near closing time that he refused to give the man a drink.
An argument then broke out and Malikov was physically removed from the bar, according to reports, whereupon he picked up a metal chair that was outside and began striking the glass front door with it.
Several customers inside the bar were reportedly frightened by Malikov’s behavior, police said.
By the time that police arrived the glass door had been shattered, and Malikov was still on the scene.
Police reports indicate that Malikov appeared to very extremely and that he was highly argumentative with officers.
Malikov was placed under arrest and charged with disorderly conduct and destruction of property over $250.
