Little Sisters of the Poor are asking for your help. Their handicapped van was a 2002 Ford model and was donated to the home several years ago. It has served them well, but it has outlived its usefulness. They are in desperate need of a new van as the current one has needed repeated repairs and has been in the garage several times in the last six months. The van is used on a daily basis to transport residents to doctor’s appointments. There is a van that includes a power fold down ramp for easy access to the van but they need $40,000 to purchase this type of van. If you would like to help make their special wish for 2012 come true for their residents please contact Sr. Mary Vincent at 857-928-3548 or email her at smdonations@littlesistersofthepoor.org. You can also donate via their web site www.littlesistersofthepoorgrboston.org.
