Two subjects were quickly arrested in connection with the stabbing. The incident is under investigation by Somerville Police with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police.
sad
Go figure… A violent crime committed at a Somerville Community Corporation (SCC) owned/managed property. Par for the course!
This and then the hijacked car on Shore Dr early this morning & the hijacker had a gun. It’s dangerous out there but I notice there are a lot of events that involve non-residents.
Any city that has the transit system and highways through it seem to have these problems as those transportation modes give a quick exit from the area. Police Officers work, like Fire Fighting are truly hazardous functions and become more difficult in the night time.
p.s. Ford should bring back the Crown Vics…These new robo style cruisers do not look like they are comfortable…Then again some prisoner will probably sue about being uncomfortable in the back seat & some wacko federal judge will side with the prisoner like that federal judge did with the inmate/sex change operation… Today the victims, cops, citizens have no rights…What’s wrong with this picture????
Hijacked car on Shore Drive? Can you link to a story about this?
“Ron” The story is about crime that’s the “link”… get it? To make you ponder even further…. there was another crime involving a gun on Bay State Ave just hours ago. Nasty things are happening!
Here’s the link to the news story:

j.connelly just an FYI they transport people who are under arrest in the van not their cruisers. SPD is doing an amazing job keeping somerville safe. shootings/stabbings/killings rarely happen in this city. unlike cambridge where they have NUMEROUS homicides that have not even been close to being solved yet. KUDOS TO THE SOMERVILLE POLICE U ALL ARE AWESOME!!
Positively Not…”j. connelly 8:48 a.m.” If your going to falsely use my name… identity theft, cause you dont have the gonads to be honest and use your own, at least try & use the correct facts…
Now I have to call the “Shrunken Head Lady” and have her put some bad mojo on you faker. Be sure & let me know if your not feeling well or you get a tax audit from the IRS. Remember
“There’s nothing worse..than the curse!”
“KUDOS TO THE SOMERVILLE POLICE U ALL ARE AWESOME!! ”
The may be awesome, but they are fat!
Slim down, Somerville cops, or the baddies will outrun you!
Double, double toil and trouble…I like both j. connellys, sorry to burst your bubble.
There’s a bubble? Damn! .. I got short changed again! Well I’ll just have to deduct that from the SHL’s bill. Bad enough she raised her mileage rates for the flying mop.
