Somerville Holds Annual Pumpkin Stroll

‘Twas the day before Halloween, and around Davis Square,

Strolled monkeys, a lion, a tiger, a bear,

A parade of costumed characters from Somerville and nearby towns,

Superheroes with masks, and princesses with crowns,

A flock of angry birds, dinosaurs, frogs, a bee,

An octopus and a lobster from underneath the sea.

Surprises awaited them back at Statue Park,

Then the creatures dispersed, to be home before dark.
